Apropos Roasters is a (very) small company located in Richmond, VA where we specialize in creating customizable hand-made favors and gourmet gifts for any occasion. We offer an array of products from coffee and tea to flower seeds and party decor for weddings, parties, anniversaries, and holidays.

Wedding &
Favor Orders

We understand this is a very special time for you and so we will work with you prior to shipping your favors to determine the best shipping date and method of shipping. If you require expedited shipping please contact us to discuss your options (additional charges may apply.)  All favors will be shipped to the address you provided on your invoice; if that address is incorrect a change must be made at least 24 house prior to your ship date. Should you fail to change your ship-to address Apropos Roasters is not responsible. Because our products are customized and perishible Apropos does not offer refunds for customized orders and we cannot accept returns. If for some reason your favors do not arrive or arrive damaged, please call us immediately so we can find the best and fastest solution to the problem. 

Custom orders

Apropos will always provide a proof of your customized order prior to beginning the work on the order, including favors and stamps. Proofs will directly reflect what the stamp will look like. We DO NOT start on the custom stamp until it is approved so please be sure to look out for your proof. If you have approved an incorrect proof, we will not refund the order so please be extra sure to look over everything before giving us the go-ahead.


We accept Debit/Credit cards, PayPal, and Personal Checks. If paying with a personal check please note that we must wait for it to clear before starting on your order.


If you require your package in less than 7 days please call us to discuss the fastest shipping method, additional shipping charges will apply.

Your order will ship to the address provided on the invoice. If you discover your address is incorrect or you would like to change the ship-to address please contact us directly with the updated address and be sure we approve the change. If you have already received tracking information from Apropos Roasters your order has been processed and we are unable to make changes to your order at that time, we suggest contacting your local postal service or UPS center.   

Apropos uses both USPS and UPS to ship items. Orders under 55 will ship USPS Priority, any order over 55 will be send UPS Ground. Should we over-estimate your shipping costs you will be refunded when your shipping label is printed. Tracking is provided for all favors traveling Priority or UPS. We do not provide tracking for stamps and coffee subscriptions as these packages travel USPS First Class. If you would like tracking, insurance or delivery confirmation for your order it is your responsibility to request it at the time of purchase and additional costs may apply. We strongly suggest adding insurance for international orders as we do not take responsibility for lost or damaged items once they have left the US.

International Shipping

International shipping is accepted. We request you give us a month in advance to allow your package to travel through customs. We are not responsible for additional charges the "ship-to" country places on your package upon arrival. Orders under 55 will go via USPS and we cannot provide tracking on these items therefore we do not accept responsibility if they are lost. Orders going to Brazil, Australia and Spain have taken up to 5 weeks to reach their destination. If you would like us to use UPS so that you may track your package or if you would like insurance for your package we are happy to do this, please contact us prior to ordering for shipping quotes.

Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products Apropos does not accept returns. We do assure you, however, that if something happens to your package before you receive it (i.e. it is damaged in the mail), we will replace the item(s) immediately. We do not offer refunds for any food item but we will always replace the item immediately if it is damaged or lost. Because we sell food items, please understand that we do our best to provide the tastiest experience possible for each customer however, we are not responsible if you simply do not like the taste of an item. We hope you understand. Please feel free to ask us any questions prior to purchase so we may best serve your specific, wonderful taste-bud needs!
